In his own words: "My current work is a visual response to time spent as a tourist in Tokyo, Japan. With these paintings I have tried to capture the layered feel of the city and its overwhelming appearance by using a range of painting techniques. In creating these pieces I hope to give the viewer an idea of Tokyo as an outsider, but also a view of Tokyo from my personal perspective."
